Christmas metaphor poem

Red gummy snakes on pohutukawa trees.
Fruit mince pies hanging on christmas trees as a ornament.
Ice blocks glistening like the snow melting.
The sleigh bells ringing like a bell in a store full of people.
Snowmen in a group like a family dinner.
Walking through New Zealand as warm as Hawai.
Flashing lights as sirens on police cars.

Walt:Write a poem with metaphors
A metaphor is when something is Said to be something else.
E.G The sun is a bright red strawberry.
The moon is a banana in a sky of leaves.
The starfish twinkle in a sea space far away.

Metaphor Poem

The dark chocolate mud balls.
Red cotton candy skies.
The grass sparkling glitter.
The street lights as white and red candy canes.
The roads made of hubba bubba seriesly strawberry tape.
The rain as coke a cola and fanta.
The sun is a star fish.
The moon is a chocolate bar with a  bite taken out of it.
The lighting as sour as a warhead.
The rivers made of gummy snakes.
